Assistive Technology Evaluations

Our staff at the Academy provides assistive technology evaluations. Many people don't realize that the assistive technology evaluation is crucial to a successful implementation of an assistive technology system. We will take the time to make sure you are exposed to high quality technology that can help you achieve your goals. Once we have exposed you to the technology, we can sit down to construct a practical and affordable assistive technology plan. At the end of the assessment, we will provide you with a thorough report for your use.

The Academy works with each consumer and supporting agency to make certain that the correct technology is recommended, installed, and properly supported. We provide guidance and support through the entire process from the assessment stage, to the design and implementation stage, to the installation and support stage. We feel that our full-service approach will guarantee the successful implementation of an individual’s assistive technology plan and the subsequent achievement of their educational and occupational goals.
