Distance Learning Approach

Model 2 supports one-to-group(s) interaction between an instructor and remote classrooms through a trained remote site facilitator.  It provides 2-way audio and text messaging, polling, whiteboard, document/file sharing, remote presentations, and remote computer control.  The prime use of this Model is to provide specific workshops & training opportunities to 2 or more remote classrooms simultaneously over the internet.  Material is presented remotely either on the participants own computer monitor or through a video projection of the material on a large screen at the remote site(s).  To support the efficiency and quality of the training experience, the maximum number of participants is limited to no more than 30.  Each remote site will have its own trained local facilitator who will monitor student-teacher interactions and provide on-site support for the students and technology utilized in the training or workshop.
